    2020 has been one for the history books. I don’t think anyone could have predicted our current situation. The tragic reality of the pandemic has taken lives, disrupted economy and challenged our collective spirit. In spite of it all, several have chosen to make a difference in our community and serve our brothers and sisters in need. As my wife mentioned Saturday, in addition to the underprivileged families we usually serve, there is a new demographic of people financially affected by the pandemic. Now more than ever we must continue to find ways to GiveBack!

    Our 2018 fundraising campaign is currently underway. As we celebrate the 24th anniversary of this organization, we have set a very aggressive goal to provide holiday food baskets for 2,000 families. The families are chosen based on information provided by The Washington, DC Department of Human Services, The Maryland Department of Social Services and other area community-based organizations.
